One demonstration changed everything.
In 1978, founder Cyril Chadwick saw a KEW pressure washer being demonstrated and immediately recognised the potential of high-pressure cleaning.
Within two years, he had moved on from his work as a haulier and was selling and repairing KEW pressure washers full time under the name Power Wash Supplies.
Hands-on experience with those machines led Cyril to design equipment of his own. The Britclean range was born, and the company name eventually evolved with it.

What began with pressure washers developed into a broader cleaning equipment business, but the engineering mindset stayed the same.
